SYRACUSE, NY – July 6, 2024, Xiongqing “Jim” Ye, 66; of Syracuse, NY passed away peacefully Saturday, July 6th, 2024, at Rochester General Hospital, Rochester, NY after ongoing health problems.
Mr. Ye was born in Fujian, China and has been an American citizen for decades living in Palmyra, NY, Fulton, NY and most recently of Syracuse, NY. Jim was such an outgoing person. He would always be laughing and joking with friends and family, and he was always friendly to everybody, greeting them with a smile on his face. Jim loved to cook, visit the casino, and enjoy a couple of drinks while playing pool or darts. He also loved going out to eat for breakfast and spending time with his kids and grandchildren.
Mr. Ye is survived by his two children: Annya Yeh of Fulton, NY; and Leiji Yeh of Syracuse, NY; and his two grandchildren: Lavonah and Kobe as well as other relatives.
A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at the convenience of the family.
There will be no Calling Hours.
Burial will be held privately.
The Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton has care of the arrangements.
