OSWEGO, NY – Gordon L. Hadsell, 78, a resident of 29 Birch Lane, died on July 27, 2009, at St. Luke Health Services.
Born in Bradford, Pa., he was the son of the late Lyle and Ethal (Patten) Hadsell and had attended Bradford schools.
He was employed as a former district manager for Kendall Refining Company and also was an engineer for Fina Oil Company.
He later retired as president of Commercial Lubricants in Florida.
Mr. Hadsell was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving from 1949-52.
Surviving are his wife, the former Elizabeth Redmond; two sons, Scott Hadsell of Fort Lauederale, Fla. and Michael (Dale) Hadsell of Englewood, Fla.; a granddaughter, Kelsey Hadsell of Englewood; three sisters, Mary Lou Wolbert of Oswego, Jane Exsley of Weirton, W. Va. and Joann Roberts of Riverdale, Iowa.
Memorial services will be held on Aug. 3 at 2 p.m. from the Dowdle Funeral Home.
