OSWEGO, NY – Howard J. Crouch, 89, a resident of Whitimore Road, in the town of Scriba, died Sunday morning Nov. 2, 2008, at his home.
He was born in Canandaigua and was the son of the late Oliver and Stella Pentycofe Emery.
He had been employed for many years in the maintenance department at the Armstrong Corp.
Mr. Crouch served in the US Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Stone Crouch; one daughter, Sally Wendy Crouch of Scriba; one son, Dan (Ann) Crouch of Lebanon, Pa.; two sisters, Pauline Haas of North Syracuse and Shirley DeSimone of Richmond, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
There will be no calling hours.
Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
