James V. Losurdo 91

James V. Losurdo, 91, of East Eighth Street, Oswego died Tuesday evening in Sunrise Nursing Home.
Mr. Losurdo was born in Oswego the son of the late Antonio and Carmela (Ditota) Losurdo. He retired from Northern Steel, Oswego. Mr. Losurdo was a volunteer with Little League Baseball. He was an avid bowler, and was inducted into the Bowling Hall of Fame. He was a strong NY Yankee fan. Mr. Losurdo is survived by his wife of sixty-nine years Mary Losurdo of Oswego, two sons James (Cindy) Losurdo of Baldwinsville, Joseph (Bonnie) Losurdo of GA, two sisters Josephine Price of Oswego and Elizabeth Scandura of RI, five grandchildren Angela, Jennifer, Aleicia, Michael, and Joseph Jr., eight great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Natalie Zoni, Carmelina Zoni, Mary Sanford, Anne Sheldon, Joseph and Sam Losurdo. Funeral services will be private. Burial was in All Saints Mausoleum. There are no calling hours. The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home 147 West Fourth Street, Oswego.
