SYRACUSE, NY – Joel S. Rutledge, 78, of Syracuse, NY, passed away on Tuesday March 26, 2019.
Joel was born in Fulton, NY, to the late Merlin and Clarice (Van Buren) Rutledge.
He retired from the city of Syracuse Department of Public Works.
Surviving are his children, Linda (Charles) Clifton, Melinda Rutledge, Dawn Rutledge, and David Rutledge; as well as 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers, Paul of Fulton, Gary of Trinity, Flo., and Suellen of Baldwinsville.
Calling hours will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Sunday, April 7, at Farone Funeral Home in Syracuse, NY.
