John Harland Robison, age 84, Oswego, KS, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021.
He was born to the late John H. Robison and Anna Lois Livesay Robison.
John attended Oswego High School Graduating in 1954. He joined the United States Army joining the 102nd Security Agency. He later worked as a salesman most of his life. Currently working for Labette Insurance. John enjoyed being around the people he served. He enjoyed playing hearts and spades on the computer. And also loved spending time with family. He was a member of Oswego United Methodist Church He married Sally Overman on May 22, 1960 in Oswego, KS, she survives of the home. In addition to his wife, he is survived by, one daughter, Cindy Robison, Oswego, Three grandchildren Tyler Robison and wife, Sheila, and Trent Robison and wife, Hilary, both of Oswego and Cody Brannin and wife, Rachael, Hollowell, KS; eight great-grandchildren, Olivia, Alaina, Garrett, Asher, and Sylvie Robison; Barrett, Walker and Colter Brannin; one brother, Roscoe Robison, and wife, Nina, Winchester, Massachusetts; and one sister, Roberta Vance and husband, Cliff, Oswego.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, one son, Gary Robison; and three brothers, Roland, Wilford and Ray Robison; and one sister, Ruby Campbell Graveside services will be Friday, July 2, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Oswego City Cemetery. Pastor Nancy Whetstone will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Oswego 1st United Methodist Church or the Oswego Golf Course.
Graveside services are under the direction of Derfelt Funeral Home, Oswego, KS.
