Joseph J. Galini, 86, of Baldwinsville, formerly of Fulton, died Sunday at home after a long illness.  A native of Granby, he resided in the Fulton area most of his life before moving to Baldwinsville in 2007.  Joe retired in 1985 as a service manager for Coca-Cola Bottling Company after many years.  He had previously worked at Nestle Company, Fulton.  Joe was a communicant of Holy Family-St. Michael’s Church, Fulton.  He was an avid bowler and member of the Bowler’s Hall of Fame, Fulton.  Joe was also an avid fisherman and enjoyed ballroom dancing.  He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in World War II and participated in the Battle of the Bulge in Europe.

Joe was a devoted husband and father.  Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Sophie (Hundycz) Galini of Baldwinsville and daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and James Quigley of Phoenix. Also surviving are his sister, Frances LaManna of Solvay and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, 309 Buffalo Street, Fulton with a calling hour from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday prior to the service.  Graveside services will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family-St. Michaels’ Church or The Church of the Immaculate Conception, 309 Buffalo Street, Fulton, 13069.
