Joseph S. Munski, 83, a lifelong resident of Oswego, passed away peacefully March 1, 2010 at Pontiac Care and Rehabilitation. Oswego.
Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late Frank and Catherine (Trojnar) Munski.
He was an Army WWII Veteran.
Joe was employed for 47 years as a Mechanic and was part owner of Morabito’s Automotive.
Surviving is his wife of 60 years, Eileen (Yakowenko) Munski; a daughter, Phyllis (Robert) Stein of Hannibal; a son, Joseph H. (Michele) Munski of Pittsford; a sister, Mary Maiurano of Oswego and six grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, William Munski in 1965.
Funeral Services will be held 9:00a.m.Thursday at St. Stephen’s Church, Oswego. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Oswego.
Calling hours will be held 3-5p.m. Wednesday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St. Oswego.
