K. Wallace ‘Wally’ Owen, Jr., 62

K. Wallace “Wally” Owen, Jr., 62, of Fulton, formerly of South Butler, died Wednesday April 21, 2010, at Oswego Hospital.

Born in Syracuse, Wally was a native of the South Butler where his father had owned and operated Owen Funeral Home.

Wally was very spiritual and memorized many scripture passages and found comfort in Psalm 100.

Wally was also known for his great sense of humor. His favorite joke was, “What did the painter say to the wall?” With laughter he delivered the punch line: “one more crack like that and I will plaster you.”

He was predeceased by his parents, K. Wallace and Roberta Owen.
Surviving: his brother, Dean Owen of Howard, Ohio.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Michaud Nursing Home, 453 Park St., Fulton.

Private burial will be at South Butler Cemetery, South Butler.

Foster Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
