Kathryn “Kay†E. Lombardo, 89, a resident of 210 West Fifth Street, Oswego, passed away, Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at University Hospital.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Irene (Burleigh) Enwright.
She was an Oswego High School graduate and was employed as the Secretary/Treasurer at Oswego Industrial Supply. She previously worked at N.Y. Telephone and as an operator at the Oswego Hospital.
Kay enjoyed gardening and her faithful companions Rascal and Cuddles. She also liked to go out on Friday nights with the girls.
Surviving is two daughters, Carole (Michael) Burns of Oswego and Theresa “Teri†(John) VonEsch of Brockport; two sons, Anthony “Bud†(Anna) Lombardo of Oswego and Larry Lombardo of Oswego’ one brother, Alfred (Shirley) Enwright of Oswego. Fifteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony C. Lombardo in 2001 and a brother, James Enwright in 1979.
A Funeral mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at Our Lady Perpetual Help, Minetto.
Entombment will be at St. Peters Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held 1-7 p.m. Saturday and 1-7 p.m. Sunday at the family home, 210 West Fifth St., Oswego.
