Kenneth R. Calkins, 61, of Hannibal died suddenly Saturday at Oswego Hospital.
A native of North Sterling, he was a life resident of the Hannibal area. Ken was supervising manager of Parts Plus in Oswego and Wolcott and had previously owned and operated Morabito Auto Parts in Wolcott. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1968 to 1972. Ken was a member of American Legion Prior Stock Post 1552 in Hannibal and AMVETS Post 1017, Hannibal.
Ken was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Mary (Hubbard) Calkins. He is survived by: his wife, Cheryl Sherman Calkins of Hannibal; daughter, Deborah Calkins-Cook of Oswego; son, Ryan Calkins of CA; grandchildren, Morgan and Mitchell Cook of Oswego; sister, June (Ron) Bartlett of Oswego; brothers, James (Shirley) Draper of VA, Floyd (Marilyn) Calkins of Hannibal and Lester (Vicki) Calkins of TX; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday with services 11 a.m. Thursday at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal.
