Kimberlee Howard Yerton

FULTON – Kimberlee Howard Yerton went to be with the Lord on February 18, 2024 with her beloved husband
David by her side.

She valiantly battled cancer for three years, maintaining a spirit of hope and joy that
inspired and encouraged everyone who knew her. Throughout her battle, Kim received incredible
support and love from her faithful family and many wonderful friends.

Kim was born in Fulton, New York on May 23, 1961 to Richard and Judith (Rowlee) Howard. Her passion
for music was ignited when she began playing the piano in elementary school, and went on to study
piano pedagogy at Roberts Wesleyan University in Rochester, NY.

She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, however Jesus Christ was the love of Kim’s
life. Music was her way of sharing the love of God with others. Her greatest desire for her family and the hundreds of students who passed through her private studio throughout her 40 years of teaching, was for them to one day know and love the Lord as she did. With her sons, Andrew and Noah, Kim founded the contra dance band, Great Bear Trio. She cherished
their years performing together from 2000-2018, traveling coast to coast, including Alaska and Hawaii.
Kim was predeceased by her father, Richard Howard.

She is survived by her husband David Yerton; mother Judith Howard; sons Andrew VanNorstrand
(Sarah), and Noah VanNorstrand (Rachel Ellis); daughters Kelly Yerton Davis (Eric Yarah), and Ginger
Yerton Cole (Thomas); grandchildren Timothy and Margaret Cole and Wesley and Ethan Davis; Wesley
