Lillian Theresa Branchcomb

Lillian Theresa Branchcomb, age 89, died on November 7, 2020 at Andrus on Hudson, in Hastings on Hudson, NY due to complications from dementia.
She was born on February 27, 1931, in New York City, New York, the seventh of thirteen children born to the late Rosa Lillian Horton Branchcomb and William Frederick Branchcomb. She attended Walton High School in the Bronx, before going on to receive an Associate’s Degree from Virginia Union University. She lived most of her adult life in Manhattan, while spending her middle years in Oswego, NY, and in 2011 she moved to Yonkers, NY.
Theresa was an accountant and auditor for Western Electric and AT&T. She enjoyed, cooking, talking, and visiting with friends and family, especially spending time with her many nieces and nephews.

She leaves one sister, Helen Branchcomb Gebeyehou of Oakland, CA and one half-sister, Diane Goldenberg of Long Island, one brother in-law, Sioum Gebeyehou of Oakland, CA; one brother, Joseph Mack Branchcomb of San Francisco, three sister-in-laws, Reva Branchcomb of Spotsylvania, VA, Flossie Branchcomb of Newport News, VA., and Toby Klayman of San Francisco and a host of nieces and nephews. Theresa was like a parent to two of her nieces, Sylvia LaRue and Yvonne Branchcomb and one nephew Steven Branchcomb. Brothers Frederick, Julian, David, Charles, Alvin, Kenneth, and Adrian preceded her in death.

There will be a Graveside Service for family members only, on Monday, November 16, 2020 at The Evergreens Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY.
Services will be overseen by Brooks Funeral Home, 275 Warburton Avenue, Yonkers, New York.
