Marian M. Crego, 85

Marian M. Crego, 85, of Hannibal, died Thursday at Oswego Hospital.  A native of Syracuse, she resided in Hannibal most of her life. Marian retired in 1980 as assistant manager of Tack and Hammer Tavern in Lysander after 7 years.  She  had also co-owned and operated Dad’s Drive-In Restaurant in Hannibal from 1967-1972.  Previously she worked at Sealright Company, Fulton and Syroco, Baldwinsville.  Marian was a member of South Hannibal United Methodist Church and Cato Senior Citizens.

Marian was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd A. Crego in 1994. Surviving are a son, John H (Rebecca) Crego of Hannibal; daughter, Joyce M. (Robert) Terpening of Fulton; sisters, Doris Lewchanin of  Lake Worth, FL and Betty Meyers of Ft. Myers, Fl; step-sisters, Betty Butz of Elmira and Phyllis Barber of NJ; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at Foster Funeral Home, Hannibal with burial at Ira Union Cemetery, Ira. Calling hours are 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 837 Cayuga Street, Hannibal. Contributions may be made to United Methodist Church of Hannibal Center & South Hannibal, Corner of Co. Rtes. 21 & 36, Hannibal, 13074 or to Hannibal Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 252, Hannibal, 13074.
