Mary E. Scott, 85

Mary E. Scott, 85, of, Hannibal, died Sunday at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fulton.

A native and life resident of Hannibal, she was a life member of Hannibal Community Church. Mrs. Scott retired in 1987 from Harr-Wood Nursing Home in Oswego. Previously she worked at Nestle’ Co., Fulton. She was predeceased by her husband Riley Scott who died in 2004.

Surviving: a daughter, June M. Bartlett of Hannibal; four sons, James Draper of Virginia, Floyd Calkins and Kenneth Calkins , both of Hannibal, Lester Calkins of Texas; two sisters, Myrtle O’Grady of Hannibal, Julia Baker of Maryland; two brothers, Walter Hubbard of Hannibal, William Hubbard of Fulton; 15 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at God’s Vision Christian Church (Hannibal Community Church), Hannibal. Burial will be at Fairdale Rural Cemetery, Hannibal. Calling hours will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the church, 326 Church St., Hannibal. Foster Funeral Home, Hannibal has charge of arrangements.
