Mary R. Knopp, 68, 06/05/2008

OSWEGO, NY -   Mary R. Knopp, 68, died on June 5, 2008, at Oswego Hospital.

Born in Massena, she was a daughter of the late Napolean and Margaret (LeClair) LeBouef and had attended Massena schools.

She was employed with the Oswego County Soil and Water Conservation Office, the Pontiac Nursing Home and P & C Food.

She was a member of the Fulton Moose Lodge and enjoyed camping.

Mrs. Knopp loved to travel and followed Blue Grass Music.

Surviving are two sons, John Sauve of Massena, David Sauve of Florida; a daughter, Marie (Dan) Zvirbulis of Georgia; four stepdaughters, Judy (David) King of Oswego, Linda (Harry) Purt of Oswego, Janet Knopp of Ravena N.Y. and Donna Jackson of Oswego; two stepsons, Frederick Knopp Jr. of Oswego and David (Judi) Knopp of Oswego; two sisters, Lena Pelkey of Massena and Helen Laraby of Potsdam; a brother, Joseph LeBouef of Boise Idaho; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick E. Knopp Sr., who died on March 1; and her son, Patrick Sauve, who died in 2000.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. from the Oswego Alliance Church.

Burial will be in Rural Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Sunday 3-6 p.m.
