Melissa Jean “Missy” Ross, 38

Melissa Jean “Missy” Ross, 38, of State Rt. 49, Fulton, passed away on Tuesday July 7, 2009. Born in Plattsburgh to her parents, Frank and Darlene (Haynes) Cardner. A graduate of JCB High School, Phoenix, NY, class of 1989. She was a food service assistant at Michael A. Maroun Elementary School, Phoenix. Missy was a communicant of St. Stephen’s Church, Phoenix.

Surviving besides her parents are her husband, Thomas R. Ross, Jr.; two sons, Justin Ross and Jessie Ross at home; two brothers, Robert Hall of of Pennellville and Jason Cardner of Decatur, TN; one sister, Tina Maher of Decatur, TN; her maternal grandmother, Audrey Haynes of Cortland, NY; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Services are 8:45 am on Saturday at the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home 431 Main St. Phoenix followed by her funeral mass at St. Stephen’s Church, 469 Bridge St., Phoenix, with the Rev. Darr Schoenhofen officiating. Burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Co. Rt. 57 (Baldwinsville), Town of Clay. Calling hours are from 3 until 7 pm Friday at the funeral home.
