Michele O’Leary Batchelor

OSWEGO – Michele O’Leary Batchelor, originally of Oswego, passed away on November 28, 2024 in Midland TX at the Midland Memorial Hospital after a short illness, at the age of 66.

Michele graduated from Oswego High School in 1976.  Michele had been employed by Oswego County prior to her moving to Midland. Michele was employed by her son-in-law’s business, Tint World in Midland, TX.   She was an avid NASCAR fan, but her biggest joy in life was her children and grandchildren.

Michele was predeceased by her parents James and Barbara (Hamilton) O’Leary, as well as her three brothers, James Jr., Dennis and Michael O’Leary.  Michele is survived by her life partner, Tom Hopkins of Midland, TX and her children Trisha (Pedro)Flores of Midland, TX; Melissa (Greg) Blake and Timothy Batchelor of Oswego.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Gabrielle and Miguel Flores, Sean Simmons, Kameron Falcetti and Baylee Batchelor, as well as bonus grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Karen O’Leary Baker of Oswego, along with several nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life held at the American Legion, 69 W. Bridge St, Oswego, NY on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.  Please come and share your stories of Michele with her children and grandchildren.
