Roddy A. Martin, 64, of The Woodlands, Texas, died on October 9, 2008.
Born to Walter J. Martin, Sr. and Mary Rose Freeman in St. Vincent Hospital, Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, he graduated from Subiaco Academy of Subiaco, Arkansas, attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and graduated from the Tulsa, Oklahoma Welding School.
Mr. Martin served in the United States Navy from 1965-1969.
He worked at the Nine Mile Point nuclear plant in Scriba, retiring in 2001.
He was a member of Sts. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, The Woodlands, Texas.
He was predeceased by a brother, W. J. “Junie” Martin, Jr.
Mr. Martin is survived by two sons, Roddy A. Martin, II and Christopher Shane (and wife Stephanie) Martin; Roddy’s children, Brittinee, Bailee, and Summer, and Shane’s children, Morgan, Jack, and Hayden Martin; and sister-in-law, Betty Parker Martin of Hot Springs, Arkansas.
