SARASOTA, FL – Thomas Fremont Fadden, 78, passed away May 11, 2024 in Sarasota, Florida. He was born in Oswego, New York to the late Fremont and Thusa (Martin) Fadden.
Thomas graduated with a teaching degree from SUNY Morrisville and SUNY Oswego. He taught automotive technology for a few years and later retired from NRG Steam Station in Oswego, New York as a specialized welder and craftsman. After retirement, he moved to Saratoga Springs and wintered in Florida.
Tommy was a passionate builder of classic cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles; that love brought him over to the Saratoga Auto Museum where he participated in many of their events. His hobbies included gardening, golfing and collecting antiques.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years Mary Lou Fadden; daughter Joslyn Ross and her husband Eric; son Nate Fadden; brothers John Fadden (Fran) and Harvey Fadden (Elizabeth); brother-in-law Curt Cole (Patty Murphy); and beloved granddaughter Lyla Ross.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his sister Joan Speiser.
