Billy Barlow & Deana Michaels: Assemblyman Barclay – A True Partner

To the Editor,

We’ve all been tested over the past seven months. For families across Central New York, our jobs, our finances, and our daily routines have been turned upside-down.

Uncertainties exist, but as our region begins to get back on its feet from the impacts of COVID- 19, we are committed to maintaining the high-quality services that residents expect and doing everything possible to ensure people receive the help they need.

A full and effective recovery will require a team approach. As mayors, we recognize that it has never been more important to have a trusted and experienced partner in state government working on our behalf; one who shares collective goals, carries an in-depth knowledge of the region, and has established strong connections to the people and places we serve.

This area is fortunate to have that in Will Barclay, and that is why he has our unconditional support this November.

Will Barclay has always been there for us. Whenever we call, regardless of the issue, he has been ready to work on behalf of Central New York communities like Oswego and Fulton. Localities have certain expectations of their state representatives in order to get results – experience, collaboration, and leadership. Will Barclay has provided those time and again.

We know that more work lies ahead for our cities – and now is not the time for on-the-job training in Albany.

Will Barclay’s election as Leader of the Assembly Minority Conference was a proud moment for those who know him and an historic milestone for Central New York. His re-election to the 120th District is well-earned and well-deserved.

Sincerely,
Mayor of Oswego Billy Barlow

Mayor of Fulton Deana Michaels
