Oh, my goodness what are they thinking!
How much more do they think we can take!
They are going to tax me right out of my house!
What is wrong with these people!
I’m sure most of us have said the above statements. Those that haven’t don’t really pay attention.
While you are saying how appalling these taxes are getting remember two things.
Number one, less than half of the people that can vote to accept or reject the budget voted. It’s your own fault.
Number two, the school board that accepted this budget from the administration was elected by the voters. It’s not the administrations’ fault, it’s yours you elected these individuals.
Solutions are this:
Number one is: start getting out and voting! If you don’t agree don’t vote in favor and don’t sit at home and accept what you feel isn’t right. It’s your money.
Number two, stop electing people that are not business savvy. Stop electing people that don’t know how to say NO to the administration’s requests. We need people on the school board that are business savvy not education savvy, the administration is hired to be education savvy not business savvy.
Bottom line is: Thank yourself for your school tax hike!
