Doug Waterbury, arrested again! Say it ain’t so.

The infamous “slumlord” of Oswego arrested again. His other title is “scumlord”, as proven by his NUMEROUS sexual related arrests, over what, 20+ years, and still, no jail time, not even county jail time. You may ask how is this? Well, one, he is the owner of several rental properties in Oswego which these rentals provided a much needed resource for off campus housing for Oswego State University for decades. These properties I presume still get rented every school year. One condition of one of his court cases was that he could not show up at properties that were being rented etc. yeah, right how did that go? Had another charge for violating that court order. He is a predatory sexual deviant who has not stopped and will not stop, as proven by his latest arrests. Secondly, most judges hands are tied due New York’s bail reforms. Most of his charges are misdemeanors which a judge cant set bail and he is free to go and continue “stalking” and unzipping his pants. So, put aside the judicial downsides and try a more “sensible and easy” solution. Oswego is a small town. Douglas Waterbury is highly recognizable in this town. It’s called “shunning”. Avoid him. Don’t go out and dine with him at a local restaurant. If I owned one I would refuse to serve him whatever the legal ramifications might end up being. The college should withhold any financial assistance that goes towards renting any properties owned or associated with Doug Waterbury. I would hope they have a bulletin board as well as notifications of identifying Waterbury to the entire campus each enrollment as well to the parents who send their children here from out of town/state. His continued arrests and monetary payouts as well as violating court orders proves he is not going to stop with his deviant sexual predatory behaviors. And last, I do not recommend you take your daughters to Santa’s Workshop, he might be working that day, if he still owns it which I do not know.
