Holding family’s hostage!

Again, the Trump administration is holding our children and their family’s hostage with partisan and despicable actions. Withholding childcare and other services hurts not only the families but their entire communities. There is a shortage of childcare availability already in Oswego County. According to data I found the ratio of childcare availability for children under 5 years old is 10 children for every 1 daycare slot in the county, and almost 9 to 1 for children 6-12 years old. What if people can’t pay for daycare with these funds being withheld! Will they lose their daycare? Will they miss time from work and lose their jobs? I hope the administrator and the legislature find solutions to avoid issues stemming from this barbarous act by the Trump administration targeting blue states! The County Legislature was silent during the SNAP benefits fiasco during the government shutdown. Shame on them if they are silent during this crisis.
