When a motion was made at the April 10th Legislative meeting by the Democratic minority to exempt any Oswego County Children from the fee to participate in the Oswego County summer Softball program. Costing the taxpayers $13,000 dollars. All but 1 Republican majority voted NO.

When a resolution to perform improvements at the Oswego County Airport, that would cost the taxpayers $21,000 dollars, was presented it passed by every Republican of the Majority voting YES, and all Democrats voting NO.

So as you can see the Oswego County Legislative Majority (Republican caucus) feels that the Adults shouldn’t have to pay to play.

However, they feel that the Children of Oswego Counties taxpaying parents should have to pay so their children can play.
