Lovin’ the Constitution, when it suits us

The Homeland Security leader and her White House boss absolutely love our sacred Constitution when it appears to give them more power to make America white again.
Kristi Noem recently told a reporter that “just this morning” she talked over with the President the fact that using the Insurrection Act is “one of the options he has constitutionally.”
However, the President and his ICE director fail to consider the Constitution when ICE carries out “citizen checks” like requiring folks to produce on the spot documentation of their citizenship.
Other earth-shattering examples of failing to defend and protect the Constitution include the President’s usurping of Congress’ exclusive power to “make all laws,” raising revenue like tariffs without Congressional authorization, misappropriation of specifically earmarked funds through “impoundments,” and finally, initiating war when only Congress has the duty to declare war.
