Are you concerned about how these budget cuts will affect you and others in our community? Do you have unanswered questions? Indivisible- Oswego County invites the public to their next Community Meeting on Saturday August 9th at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 45 E. Utica St. Oswego, NY. The informational meeting will begin at 1 pm. The agenda for this important event will cover many of the specific damages Oswego County residents will face as P.L. 119-21 takes effect. The budget bill (aka the BBB) recently passed Congress and was signed into law by Donald Trump.
In recent weeks estimates have floated down to our county as to what we can expect now and in the months ahead. These impacts will touch all of us in very significant ways. Many of our friends and relatives have lost their jobs or will soon. Our healthcare facilities and nonprofit organizations will suffer dramatic decreases in funding. Medicare changes will impact those who lawfully receive life-saving support.
Join us as we share clear and accurate information on many of the issues we must prepare for now. Meet with representatives from local businesses and community agencies and ask questions directly related to your personal concerns. The public is invited to this free meeting. Bring your friends and neighbors. Indivisible- Oswego County is a non-patrician grass-roots organization supporting our Democracy. All are welcome!
