To The Editor,
I would like to thank all the voters who came out on Thursday, September 10, for the Republican Primary for legislator in District 25.
I knew the turnout would be difficult as there has never been a primary in New York State on a Thursday.
Coupled with a change of venue for a polling place for ¾ of the district the voters had a challenge.
I am very pleased that those voting gave me a great victory.
I promised the voters when I was campaigning that there voices would be heard at the county level and that I will be a partner with the city to help solve problems not create them.
I understand how government works, I understand there are many steps to get something done, I understand that mandates create huge tax burdens, I understand that getting the facts before you speak is necessary, I understand that Fulton deserves a representative they can be proud of.
Again, thank you for your support and I look forward to the November election.
Louella LeClair
Republican candidate for County Legislator District 25.
