Thank you, Pulaski

On behalf of NYS Assembly Minority Leader Will Barclay and the Stone Soup-Pulaski Planning Committee, United Way of Oswego County extends a sincere thank you to everyone involved in the success of the 3rd Annual Stone Soup-Pulaski Luncheon held Thursday, September 19, 2024. Funds generated from this event and the food collected will advance the efforts of several programs which provide relief to our most vulnerable populations in the Pulaski area.

A special thank you goes out to our presenting sponsors ConnextCare, Robert Edwards American Legion Post 358, DOT Foods, Assemblyman Will Barclay, and Stone Creek Golf Club in Oswego. Thank you to Salmon River Cannabis Company for your very generous monetary donation to this worthy cause.

A huge thank you goes to Eis House, Artie’s Hometown Diner, Tailwater Lodge, Make Sense Shop, Mill House Market and Pond Pit BBQ, who supported this luncheon by graciously donating their delicious soups.

The event would not be successful without our volunteers, especially the 13 employees from National Grid, who made this event one of their ‘Week of Service’ community giveback projects. We were also blessed to have students from the Make Sense Shop provide us with helping hands! Our heartfelt thanks are extended to the Ringgold Fire Dept. for hosting the event, Top’s Market and Dunkin’ in Pulaski, C’s Farm Market in Oswego, and CITI BOCES for their generosity of providing items to the menu. We are also very grateful to the community members who came out to support this event and provided non-perishable food donations. In all, over $3,200 in proceeds and $1,500 worth of food was collected and shared with local food-relief programs.

Your willingness to give back to the community is admirable and appreciated. Individually and collectively, you helped raise awareness of food insecurity while providing much needed relief to families and individuals in-need in our area. We look forward to returning again next September.

Appreciatively,

Patrick Dewine
