Who Cares?

This past Tuesday, January 7th there was a public hearing at the Oswego County Legislature!

The Public Hearing was pertaining to the “redistricting of Oswego County Legislative Districts”.

Redistricting is the most important event other than the elections for the political parties. It sets the lines that set the boundaries for any candidate to obtain votes for elections.

With such an important process in the election process one would think it would be an all-out effort by all members of the political parties.

That was the case for the Oswego County Republican party during this process.

Not so for the Oswego County Democratic Party. Not only was the Oswego County leader of the Democratic committee nowhere to be found during this process they have been nonexistent at any of the Legislative meetings of importance in well over a year.

With the above being said one can see who cares and who doesn’t.

The only two members of the Democratic party on the Legislature were left to fend for themselves during this entire process.

Very Sad indeed!
