Why go just part way?

Journalists persist in publishing things like, “America did thus and such in Iran last night.”
Folks, America is not at war with Iran. Congress and the American citizenry have had nothing to do with either launching or prosecuting this war. This is President Trump’s war, and his alone.
#47 has progressed so far along as the sole decision-maker in the nation that even professional golfers like Bryson DeChambeau know they must call him if they want to dispute a two-shot penalty at a golf tournament.
Our President recently reversed a “red card” decision for a U.S. player during the World Cup. Getting pretty far down into the weeds, isn’t he?
An airline employee recently threatened an irate customer, “I’m going to call ICE on you.” Sweetheart, why just go part way up the chain of command, when the President will be perfectly happy to take your call?
If Trump is smarter than everybody else, more holy than the Pope, and “never wrong” in all his decision-making, why shouldn’t he be able to serve as the final decision-maker of everything worth talking about, like kings appointed themselves to do in medieval times?
