OSWEGO – A variety of topics are up for discussion at Monday night’s Oswego council committee meetings.
At the Administrative Services Committee, Mayor Billy Barlow will ask that bids be sought for the following capital projects: General Contracting for building repairs to Safe Haven and the Theater Building located at Fort Ontario Building; Repairs to City Hall; and Street Restoration and widening to Munn Street.
Other agenda items include:
Nancy Sterio, Personnel Director, seeks authorization for the mayor to sign an agreement for Language Interpreter Services.
And, Justin Rudgick, Economic Development Director, would like to discuss a proposal for the Water Treatment Evaluation through the CDBG Program.
At the Physical Services Committee, the City Attorney received a request from Oswego County Opportunities, the owner and developer of a project known as Champlain Commons, located at 172 City Line Road (town of Scriba).
They seek the review and approval of an application to connect directly into the city of Oswego sewer system pursuant to Chapter 199, Article 1 of the City Code.
And, at the Planning and Development Committee Mayor Barlow and Nathan Emmons, Director of the Rental Assistance Program, will request a public hearing and review of a proposed updated Administrative Plan for the Rental Assistance Program.
The meetings get under way at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall.
