I would the community to know i am doing a 50/50 raffle for the Neighborhood Watch Program. The tickets are a $1.00 each and the drawing will be at the next meeting in late April.Anyone that would like to help out. So please step up and help out we would appreicate it.This program is to get our city a safer place to live in. We do have a lot in the community looking out for each other. This is great and i want it to keep going. There are still people in our community that don’t even know about the program yet.I have had guest speaker from Syracuse that spoke about there neighborhood watch program and how it works from the city director of code enforcement Neal Smith & Pat Kelly city code enforcement and Mary Vanouse from community development. The state attoney generals office did a presentation at the meeting’s on youth and adults how to be safe on the computer and a presentation on identity theft {Don’t Become A Victim}The American Red Cross spoke on how to be prepard for emergency disaster & what you can have ready in a backpack for your family if there is a fire etc.
