OSWEGO – On Monday (April 30), at approximately 4 p.m., investigators with the Oswego County Drug Task Force, with the assistance of the Oswego City Police Department, executed a narcotics related search warrant at the 300 building of 550 W. First St. in the city of Oswego.
As a result of the search warrant execution, approximately 1,230 grams of Fentanyl, 324.3 grams of heroin and 62.1 grams of crack cocaine were seized, police said.
The street value of the seized drugs is approximately $1,222,410. The fentanyl is valued at $1,000,000, the heroin is valued at $216,200 and the crack cocaine is valued at $6,210.
Jeremy A. Acosta, 42, of 550 W. First St., Apartment 303, Oswego, was arrested and charged with:
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 1st degree – Class A-1 Felony – two counts
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, intent to sell – Class B Felony
Acosta was arraigned in Oswego City Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility without bail.
The investigation is ongoing and further arrests and/or criminal charges are a possibility.
The Oswego County Drug Task Force is comprised of members from the Oswego County District Attorney’s Office, Oswego County Sheriff’s Department, NYS University Police at Oswego, U.S. Border Patrol and Oswego City Police Department.
