Oswego Fire Department Loaner for Life Program Continues

The Oswego Fire Department wants to remind all residents, visitors, fisherman, and all who recreate on or near the water that we continue to offer through our “Loaner For Life” program, loaner life jackets free of charge.

They are available at the East Side Fire Station, 35 E. Cayuga St.

It does require a driver’s license (any state) or another form of photo ID.

“Water temperatures are dropping, water conditions change and many other factors make wearing a PFD a great idea anytime, but especially on or near the river or lake as the fall season is here,” said Chief Jeff McCrobie. “With the Loaner For Life Program, there is really no reason not to.”
