Oswego Health to Host Ask The Doctor on Diabetes and Foot Health

OSWEGO – Oswego Health’s next Ask The Doctor program will focus on diabetes and foot health and will be held at 6 p.m. Nov. 8 at GS Steamers in Oswego.

Members of the panel will include Carlos Dator Jr. M.D., who serves as the medical director of the Center for Wound Healing at Oswego Health and Nurse Practitioner Kristine Strumpfler, the clinical care coordinator at the wound center.

Joining them on the panel will be Susan Callaway, Oswego Health’s Certified Diabetes Educator.

Dr. Dator Jr., graduated from Oswego High School and attended Loyola College, where he earned his bachelor’s degree, graduating cum laude. He obtained his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine, located on the island of St. Maarten.

He completed his family medicine residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse.

Strumpfler has more than 15 years nursing experience, while Callaway has served as the health’s systems certified diabetes educator for seven years after undergoing the required rigorous training.

The Ask The Doctor Forum is a free presentation sponsored by the Oswego Health Community Development Office.

The Ask The Doctor Forum is designed to create an open dialogue between health care providers/professionals and interested members of the greater Oswego County community.
