Oswego Police Seek Byrne Dairy Robbery Suspect

OSWEGO, NY – At about 1:40 a.m. today (July 22), the Oswego Police Department responded to the west side Byrne Dairy for a robbery complaint.

It was reported that a man entered Byrne Dairy and displayed a note to the clerk demanding cash.

No weapon was displayed, according to police.

The suspect told the clerk that he was doing this for a family member.

The man is described as wearing blue jeans, a blue T-shirt under a black zip up hoodie with a white graphic on the back and a small white graphic on the front right.

His hood was pulled up and his face was partially covered by an orange scarf or bandana.

The suspect is believed to be white, in his early 20s, about 5’9” with a skinny build.

No one was injured during the robbery, but the man did make off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The investigation is ongoing, and no additional information is available at this time.

  1. I am guessing Byrne staffed the usual 1 solitary late night clerk too. Can’t afford 2 employees not in their teens? Stupid.
