OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego City School District Board of Education has scheduled two meetings during the week of March 19.
On March 20 at 6 p.m. the Board of Education will meet in the Education Center Board Room to approve a proposal relating to the purchase of buses. This item would be placed on the May 17 ballot for the voters to determine if they desire to purchase new buses.
The proposal is for eight 66-passenger buses, one 60-passenger bus with wheelchair lift and a 30-passenger bus.
After addressing the proposition proposal the board will then conduct a budget workshop with Superintendent of Schools Bill Crist.
On March 21 at 5:30 p.m., the board will convene once again where it expected that the majority of the meeting will deal with an executive session to discuss negotiations with the various district bargaining units.
