Oswego Speedway Fall Championship 125 Postponed Until Sunday, Racing at 11 a.m.

OSWEGO, NY – Oswego Speedway’s Fall Championship 125 finale has been postponed until Sunday, September 20 due to prolonged rain showers.

An initial round of showers rolled through the area at 2 p.m., delaying hot laps.

After a drying period both the Novelis Supermodifieds and the Pathfinder Bank SBS received warmup sessions before another set of showers hit the area just prior to the scheduled race time of 4 p.m.

After an attempt to wait out the rain, officials made the decision to postpone the Speedway’s track championship events until Sunday, September 20 at 11 a.m.

Pit gates will open on Sunday at 9 a.m. with grandstand gates opening and hot laps beginning at 10 a.m. The day’s first heat race will go green at 11 a.m. with the program continuing non-stop from there on out.

A total of 27 Novelis Supermodifieds were in the pit area on Saturday along with 20 Pathfinder Bank SBS.

All those who purchased pit passes must return with their pit wristband and ticket for re-entry.

All those who purchased grandstand admission must return with their rain check.

General admission seating is available on Sunday for $20 with reserved seating set at $25 and pit admission being $35.
