Winter Trails Report for February 5th, 2021

This report courtesy of the Oswego County Department of Community Development, Tourism and Planning.

Overall we’re seeing warmer temperatures today, but the temperature should drop this weekend or early next week and stay below freezing for quite a few days.  Some snow accumulation is also expected.

According to the Winona Forest Recreation Association:

As of yesterday, all the trails, with the exception of Pussycat, have been groomed at least 1 time.

According to the Pulaski-Boylston Snowmobile Club:

Yesterday we groomed from the Pulaski barn to Salmon River Falls including S 51D to C5E to LittleJohn.

According to the Mexico Trail Riders:

We groomed all of Palermo on Wednesday.  The trail to Parish is in good condition with a little water by 81.

There were a ton of riders on the trails this week.  So we want to remind everyone to please stay on the trails.

Fulton Area Snow Travelers:

The trail was groomed Wednesday night and there’s a lot more snow now.

Cross-Country Skiing:

According to the Winona Forest Recreation Association:

Saturday we will host the Winona Tourathon XC Ski event!  Registration is now closed.  Please be patient with us if you are in the area this weekend.

The forecast right now is for snow again on Friday and Saturday; we are on standby with our grooming team. missing or outdated ad config
