Oswego Town Husband Charged With Murder

On August 14, 2013 at about 9:15 p.m., members of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office were sent to investigate a reported domestic incident at 55 Siembor Drive in the Town of Oswego.

The home is the marital residence of Robert and Theresa Moshier.

When deputies arrived, they found the body of 43-year-old Theresa Moshier in one of the bedrooms of the residence.

Also in the home at the time was Theresa’s husband, 56-year-old Robert Moshier.

Mr. Moshier was interviewed by investigators and it was determined that Mr. Moshier apparently caused the death of his wife by strangulation.

Robert Moshier was charged with Unlawful Imprisonment in the First Degree, a Class E Felony; Strangulation, First Degree, a Class C Felony; two counts of Manslaughter; and Murder in the Second Degree.

Mr. Moshier was arraigned before the Hon. Michael Sterio in the Town of Oswego Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility with no bail.

He is to return to the Oswego Town Court on 08-19-13 at 7 p.m.
