9th Annual for Your Health 5K and Wellness Event Raises Over $31,000 to Support Local Healthcare

Oswego Police escort the 31 children that participated in the kids’ fun run as part of the Oswego Health Foundation’s 9th Annual for Your Health 5K and Wellness Event

The 9th Annual Oswego Health Foundation’s for Your Health 5K and Wellness Event, presented by Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, was held August 10th, with 166 adults and 31 children participating. Through their kind donations and the support of local businesses, the annual event raised over $31,000 to support patient care in the community, specifically upcoming renovations to the Hospital with the expansion of the Emergency Department to accommodate additional psychiatric patients.

Auyer Race Timing & Event Management tracked results for the 5K and the overall winner, taking first place at 18:50 was 15-year-old, Colin Wallach from Oswego, NY. Top male runners included Mike Chrisman of Fulton at 19:08, and Daniel Dunn of Oswego at 19:19.  Top female runners included Molly Fitzgibbons of Oswego at 19:43, Abby Molinari of Oswego at 23:31, and Collen Krug of Baldwinsville at 24:04.
