Nurses from the St. Luke and Michaud Health Services are teaming up with the Oswego YMCA to offer a free bone density screening on Wednesday, October 21st from 9:00am to Noon, in the community room at the Oswego YMCA.
“This is a great opportunity for folks to receive a valuable health screening free of charge,†said St. Luke Nurse Shawn Henderson. “The bone density screening is easy to do and takes only a few minutes.†Nurses will be available to discuss the screening results and any answer questions.
“The information provided by the bone density screening may help you to improve your health and quality of life, especially for those who may be experiencing the onset of osteoporosis,†said Oswego YMCA Executive Director Deana Masuicca. “We are glad to be partnering with St. Luke and Michaud to bring this service.â€Â
