OSWEGO COUNTY – The Oswego County Health Department offers two free classes as part of its Living Well Workshop Series this spring.

The first class, “Living Well with Diabetes: Pathways to Control Your Blood Sugar” runs from 9:30 a.m. to noon every Thursday from April 16 through May 21 at the Mexico Public Library, 3269 Main St., Mexico, N.Y.

These sessions teach individuals living with Type 2 diabetes, as well as their caregivers, how to manage symptoms, count carbohydrates and develop other skills to cope with their condition.

The second class is “Stepping On: Fall Prevention” and runs from 1 to 3 p.m. every Wednesday from April 22 through June 3 at the Hannibal Free Library, 162 Oswego St., Hannibal, N.Y.
