Dr. Dennis Norfleet, Oswego County Director of Public Health, would like to stress the importance of staying healthy and getting vaccinated against H1N1 this flu season.
Health experts are expecting another wave of H1N1 to hit sometime in February. There is still time to get vaccinated against H1N1 flu.
“While the timing and severity of a possible third wave of H1N1 are unpredictable, it is still a very serious respiratory disease; and the best way to protect yourself and your loved ones from it is to get an H1N1 vaccine,†urged Dr. Norfleet.
It’s not too late to get vaccinated. The Oswego County Health Department is holding H1N1 clinics each week. Clinics are available in the evening as well as during the day. Clinics are free and available to everyone.
