Joanne Burcroff, RN Joins The Manor at Seneca Hill as Director of Nursing

OSWEGO – Experienced clinical leader, Joanne Burcroff, RN joins the 120-licensed-bed, skilled nursing facility, The Manor at Seneca Hill as their new Director of Nursing.

Burcroff is from Montezuma, NY, and earned an Associate of Applied Science in 2013 from Cayuga Community College and is actively pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

“We are excited for Joanne to join our team,” shared Leigh Hilgenberg, Executive Director of The Manor. “She is committed to organizational quality and exceptional resident care.”

Burcroff has over 10 years of experience as a Registered Nurse working throughout Central New York. The majority of her career has been spent in long-term care, including as Director of Nursing at a five-star CMS-rated facility, Finger Lakes Center for Living in Auburn, where she led quality assurance/performance improvement (QAPI) meetings with interdisciplinary teams and oversaw orientation and training of nursing staff.  Most recently she was hired as Assistant Director of Nursing/Quality Manager for Auburn Rehabilitation and Nursing, where she focused on quality improvement. In addition, Burcroff is passionate about teaching and has held a part-time position as a nursing instructor at Cayuga Onondaga BOCES.

As Director of Nursing at The Manor, Burcroff will provide clinical oversight and guidance for the nursing department as well as oversee compliance with state and federal regulations for the facility.

I believe every nurse deserves the training, support, and empowerment to make the best decisions for their patients/residents and I am honored to join The Manor as I know this team is committed to caring for our most cherished community members,” explained Joanne Burcroff, RN.
