OSWEGO, NY – Kris Smith joins Oswego Health as director of human resources.
In this role, Smith will oversee the recruiting, hiring and benefits of Oswego Health’s more than 900 employees.
Among her objectives is to update and revise the healthcare provider’s policies and procedures.
She will also assist in implementing the organization’s goal of being the employer of choice in the area.
Smith said she was enjoying her new position.

A native of Oswego, Smith had most recently been a senior human resource generalist at Entergy Nuclear.
She also has experience in the healthcare field working for Four Winds Syracuse, a psychiatric hospital, as the director of human resources.
Smith earned a Bachelor of Science degree in human resources from SUNY Oswego.
She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management’s central New York chapter.
