Oswego Health Ask the Doctor Forum on Womens Health

Three Oswego Hospital physicians will take part in an Ask The Doctor forum on Women’s Health to be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, October 13th in the lower level conference room of the Oswego Health Services Center, which is adjacent to the hospital.

Sharing their expertise on a variety of women’s health issues will be Venkata Ramani Dasari, MD, an obstetrician/gynecologist who is associated with the practice of Oswego County OB/GYN, P.C., as well as surgeons Dawn Holman, MD and Allison Duggan MD, who also serves as a vice president of medical affairs at Oswego Hospital. The physicians will discuss the importance of yearly exams and mammograms, as well as breast care issues and what to do if you are diagnosed with breast cancer.

Time will be set aside during the forum for audience questions.

Following the presentation, free clinical breast exams will be provided in the privacy of the community health department, also located in the health services center. The exams will be conducted by trained nurse practitioners.

The Ask The Doctor Forum is a free presentation sponsored by the Oswego Health Community Development Office. The Ask The Doctor Forum is designed to create an open dialogue between health care providers/professionals and interested members of the greater Oswego County community.
