Oswego Health Foundation Golf Tournament Raises Over $142,000 to Support Local Healthcare

OSWEGO – The 38th Annual Oswego Health Foundation Golf Tournament, held on Monday, June 2, 2025, at the Oswego Country Club, was a resounding success, raising over $142,000 to support local patient care. As a nonprofit community healthcare system, Oswego Health relies on the generosity of donors, community members, and business partners to help ensure high-quality, accessible care remains available to all Central New Yorkers. Every dollar raised from this year’s event will be directly reinvested into local healthcare programs and services.

Presented by The Hayner Hoyt Corporation, the tournament brought together dozens of teams and sponsors united in their support for Oswego Health’s mission. The day included friendly competition, individual skill contests, and meaningful recognition of supporters.

Tournament winners included:

  • 1st Place: Ontario Lakeside Associates, with a score of 57
  • 2nd Place: Joseph’s Health, with a score of 58
  • 3rd Place: Burritt Motors, with a score of 59

The Debbie Hicks Memorial Fun Prize, awarded by blind draw to a team in the non-competitive division, was presented to Team LaBella Associates in honor of longtime golf tournament organizer Debbie Hicks.

  • Closest to the Pin (#2): Jan Quinnly
  • Closest to the Pin (#4): Kevin Dorsey
  • Closest to the Pin (#12): Corinne English & Weidong Li
  • Closest to the Pin (#18): Corinne English & Austin French
  • Putting Contest Winner: Austin French
  • Chipping Contest Winner: Bill Galloway

“We truly appreciate the support received from the community and our local business partners,” shared Michele Hourigan, Director of Business and Community Development for the Oswego Health Foundation. “Events like this help us continue to deliver the outstanding care our patients and community deserve.”

Planning is already underway for the 39th Annual Golf Tournament, scheduled for June 1, 2026. Oswego Health extends its sincere thanks to all who contributed to this year’s remarkable achievement.
