Oswego Health’s Home Health Aide program graduated seven students following its 75-hour August class.

After the students successfully complete the Home Aides for Oswego County program, they are able to provide care and other duties as ordered by a client’s physician. Those responsibilities may include personal care, light housekeeping and completing errands. Oswego Health has operated its Home Aides for Oswego County since 1972. Those interested in taking the class, typically offered monthly, should call 343-1887.

Oswego Healthcare system includes the Oswego Hospital, The Manor at Seneca Hill, a skilled nursing facility; Springside at Seneca Hill, a retirement living community; an urgent care center in Fulton, as well as health services centers in Mexico, Parish and now Phoenix.
